- Sara Kadkhodaei has presented an educational seminar about “Enhancing insight and design of future materials through theoretical modeling and artificial intelligence”, in the Materialize the Future Workshop, Master of Materiomics program, Hasselt University, Belgium, April 2024 (Online)
- Sara Kadkhodaei (co-PI) and two PhD students (Devi Biswajeet and Amir Orvati Movaffagh) demonstrated hands-on educational modules for middle-school students from different schools about “Effect of heat treatment on bobby pins” in the 2023 Futures Unlimited workshop at Oakton Community College, Des plain, IL, USA. (2023)
- Eva Zurek gave a lecture and tutorial on XtalOpt at the Paradim summer school “Data Driven Materials Discovery: From ML to Maker Space.”
- Eva was interviewed by Chemistry World on the explosion of carbon allotropes.
- Eva Zurek served in the Chair Line of the APS Division of Computational Physics.

- Eva Zurek, Samad Hajinazar, and Morgan Redington will be involved in a hands-on-workshop in Poitiers, France, on Crystal Structure Prediction featuring XtalOpt and AIRSS in June 2025.
